“I could go on forever about how much we enjoyed working with Tyson. He was always available for any questions we had. He is very very organized and has everything you need to think of for your ceremony and reception laid out in a simple/easy google doc for you to fill out and it made wedding planning SO much easier. He relieved a lot of my anxiety and stress by his calm and accommodating nature. He read the crowd while picking songs and knew when to play our must plays and stuck to my do not play list full heartedly. He even took some photos and videos for us to have to remember the night. He truly is the best. If I could give him a 20/10 I would. HIRE THIS MAN AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!”

“SkinnyBoy Media has been great to work with over the last year in planning a lot of the details in our wedding. Always had great ideas to compliment the flavor we wanted to apply to our special day. We requested acoustical music from the Beatles. He did an amazing job playing the guitar for us. Most men and woman had their hands in their pockets due to the cold breeze on our special day. SkinnyBoy Media pushed through to give us exactly what we wanted, even with frosty finger tips. Spent a good portion of the day after explaining to family it was not a recording. If this doesn’t exemplify a DJ going all in to assist in creating a perfect day than I don’t know what would. If you’re looking for a DJ in your wedding SkinnyBoy media would be a great start in planning for your perfect day.”

“When I had originally booked with SkinnyBoy Media I was living in Georgia and trying to plan a wedding 12 hours away, I had a million question and he took the time to answer them all. He was even the person who helped me create my wedding timeline. The music was absolutely perfect for both my ceremony and reception, and he managed to incorporate my Harry Potter requests for when I walked down the aisle. I could not have asked for a better experience.”

“Tyson is amazing! We hired him to do the audio for our ceremony and the music for our reception. When our ceremony had to be moved inside due to the weather forecast, Tyson was totally flexible and made sure everything with the tech/AV was exactly as we wanted, despite the change of plans. The ceremony was very involved and so important to us, and Tyson totally ran with all our plans and made sure everything went smoothly. From our very first communication with him, I got such great vibes from Tyson — not only was he incredibly kind and enthusiastic about working with a queer couple, but also had experience DJing dry weddings (as ours was) and helping alleviate our worries about whether people would dance without any liquid courage. And can I just tell you — the dance floor was packed and ecstatic the whole night. Tyson did a great job curating a set based on our “must plays” and our hopes for the night. We wished the night could’ve lasted forever!!! Thank you Tyson for helping make our wedding the most joyous day of our lives.”

“Tyson was fantastic! We hired him for his DJ services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Windows on the River in Cleveland. He was unbelievably flexible and easy to work with– we had a few calls leading up to our wedding and he made sure that we had absolutely nothing to worry about throughout the entire process. We actually had a surprise visit from the Cleveland Hot Dogs (Cleveland Guardians), and Tyson took it in stride with only a moments notice. He was able to keep everyone entertained on the dance floor all night long, and we received many compliments from our guests. We had many even state that the vibes in the room were the best they have ever experienced at a wedding, and that was largely due to Tyson 🙂 We cannot recommend him enough!”

We hired him for both officiant and DJ services and he carried out both flawlessly. He understood what we were looking for after just one conversation and put together a beautiful ceremony. “Tyson completely exceeded our expectations as our wedding DJ! He was flexible, prompt, professional, and filled in where we needed additional help. He helped with the spacing on sending our ring bears and flower girls down the isle, got a super special picture of our ceremony that I wouldn’t have had otherwise, got our food at the reception for us, and dismissed our tables for dinner. My husband has brought up multiple times since our wedding about how great of a job he did! You will not regret booking with SkinnyBoy Media!”

“My husband and I found Tyson about 1 year into our 2 year engagement. We originally were looking to book him as our DJ, but lo and behold, the magician that he is, he also offered officiant services. And I am SO glad we booked him for both! From our first meeting to our wedding day, Tyson has brought nothing but joy, professionalism, kindness, wit, and humor. He made us feel like family at every step of the way and our ceremony and reception were HUGE successes because of him. He was able to write a beautiful ceremony script that fit our needs, and our party was absolutely LITTY because of his DJing prowess. But that’s not all! He also offers photo booth options, one of which was an ivy wall with a custom neon sign, and our guests LOVED IT (and so did we!). He had an attendant at the booth all night who helped us with prints, and sent it to phones, emails, etc accordingly. In short, Tyson is an absolute gem and you would be missing out on a wonderful journey if you didn’t hire him!”

“We found Tyson last minute for our memorial weekend wedding and it couldn’t have ended up better! I really had no idea what songs I wanted for any piece of the wedding – the processional, recessional, dinner music, etc. I’m not picky, so it was hard for me to narrow down the thousands of songs out there. Tyson not only chose these songs for me but chose them well. The music throughout the night was wonderful and our small crowd danced the whole time! Highly recommend Tyson for your wedding.”

“SkinnyBoy Media was absolutely amazing! We originally hired him as our DJ for our reception, but had to postpone a year and ended up hiring him to play acoustic at our small ceremony as well! Tyson was great at communicating during the entire process, from pre booking meetings, payments, and pre event meetings. During our reception, he kept the event running smoothly by facilitating the nights timeline and when it came to dancing, he kept everyone on the dance floor all night! We couldn’t recommend SkinnyBoy Media enough!!”

“Tyson is flexible, easy to communicate with and open to working with the bride and groom to make their wedding perfect. He pivoted and played acoustic guitar at our elopement in 2020 before breaking out his DJing shoes for our reception in 2021. I had multiple come tell me it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and a lot of that is thanks to Tyson keeping the wedding proceedings moving and reading the room to know what songs to play. I mean, have you ever been to a wedding where after the final song the dance floor turns to the DJ booth and starts chanting “one more song, one more song!”? Highly recommend Tyson for your wedding or event!”

“When we first reached out to Tyson it was for both his ceremony and DJ services. While Tyson had another engagement the day of our wedding for his DJ services, he was still able to officiate our wedding and hook us up with a colleague of his for the DJ side and helped keep us on track with the little details of the ceremony and reception.
The vows for our ceremony were absolutely perfect! Matt and I were so honored to have Tyson officiate, he was awesome to work with and after meeting him, was one of those guys you feel like you have known for years! His energy is contagious and his expertise top notch! I would 100% recommend him to anyone!!”

“Tyson was awesome to work with! His follow up from the beginning with always quick and helpful. He is very personable and I could quickly tell he had a lot of experience. We hired him as our DJ and couldn’t have asked for more. He helped me with my timeline that made everything exactly as we wanted it, without even knowing it! I had a lot of questions about our ceremony and I had concerns that he quickly put my mind at ease!! Exactly what i needed!!! (Note: he wasn’t even our actual officiant!) He was professional and friendly and helped make sure everything went as planned. He even offered to get my dinner for me (we had buffet style) so that I wouldn’t get anything on my dress! Highly recommend hiring Tyson as your DJ or officiant!!”
